The Memorial Service for Mr. Melvin Gaston will take place on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at 747 East Whittier St., Columbus, OH 43206.

Melvin Gaston aged 64 passed away peacefully on July 6, 2024.  Hewas born on January 9th, 1960 in Columbus, Ohio to the late William and Louise Gaston. He was the 6th of 7 children. He was a proud resident of Columbus, Ohio, and also lived for a time in Atlanta, GA. He  was a graduate of East High School.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, His siblings, one brother, William Gaston; and three sisters, Ida Courtney, Jean Estes, and Drucilla Gaston.

He is survived by a son, William Person, and a daughter Monisha (Markus) McCoy. Four grandchildren.  Two brothers, Jimmy (Jackie) Gaston and John (Tina) Gaston, and a Special and devoted Niece; Antonia Estes who stood by his side through thick and thin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family, friends, and others are invited to the The Residences at Career Gateway located at 755 Whittier St, in Columbus, Ohio for a celebration of his life.
