Melvin McFadden, Jr. departed this life on Monday, May 1, 2023. 

Melvin was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired truck driver. He was a serving member of Judah Christian Community Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin McFadden, Sr., and Viola A. McFadden. Survived by his loving wife, Juanita McFadden; son James K. McFadden; five step-children Allan (Natalie) Clayborn, Paul Clayborn, Rhonda Clayborn, Byron Clayborn, and Stuart Clayborn. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
