Nicholas L. Ealy

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Interment: Greenlawn Cemetery. Livestream will begin at 10:30 a.m.

Nicholas Lynn Ealy was born June 17, 1982, Columbus Ohio to Christina Pippins and Timothy Robert Ealy.  

Nicholas was a product of Whitehall City Schools after graduation, he furthered his education at St. Clair College, where he received his associate degree in business.  

Nicholas at birth was a preemie, who grew into a 6’4” young man, who was affectionately known as Slim among his peers. He loved sports and excelled in track, baseball, basketball, and football during his school years. He was a jokester who loved to describe people in his own way.  One memorable experience included him putting his little brother into the clothes dryer for a spin. 

Nicholas was deeply passionate about fashion and had dreams of creating his own clothing line. His dream came to fruition through obtaining his LLC with hopes of attending Columbus College of Art & Design, to further enhance his creative skills.  

Nicholas left to be with Bubby (his brother Ian) unexpectedly at the age of 41, Sunday, August 6, 2023.  

He is preceded in death by his brother Ian; Grandfather Ralph Sam Pippins, and uncle, Stacey Lynn Pippins.  

He leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Christina Pippins, father Timothy Robert Ealy, children; Ni Sean L. Ealy, Keviona Russell, bonus daughter, Janietha Carter, grandmother (Gram) Peggy Pippins, brother; Keith Pippins, Jr; sisters; Syma and Erisa Pippins, uncles; Garland (Kristy) Reynolds, Keith Pippins, Sr., and Samuel L. Pippins, Niece; Rileigh L. Pippins, Nephew; Domani Pippins childhood friend, Duane Allen. A host of other relatives and many friends.
