It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Olivia May Strozier, age 31, of Columbus, Ohio, on June 12, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1994, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the daughter of Robin Ducay and Michael Strozier.
Olivia was an artistic and creative soul known to friends as “Liv Stro.” She enjoyed knitting, creating blankets and amigurumi keepsakes for her family. She also wrote poetry, several of which have been published, that revealed her sensitivity, insight, and indomitable spirit reflecting her life experiences. She brought beauty into the world not only through her art and words, but also through the love she shared with her family and friends. When Olivia walked into a room, you could immediately feel her presence. We hope she will be remembered not for the way her life ended, but for the way that it was lived: fiercely, boldly, and filled with heart. Although her light was extinguished far too soon, it will forever shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister Rashida Strozier of Columbus, Ohio; her grandparents, Gerald and Anne Ducay of Youngstown, Ohio; and her five beloved children. She also leaves behind a host of siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless others whose lives she impacted. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Roberta Strozier.
