HERMAN H. NOBLE, age 82
Herman H. Noble was a man after God's own heart. He was born on January 23, 1938 in Augusta, Georgia to the late Hattie J. and Sandy G. Noble. Herman transitioned into his eternal rest with the Lord on February 15, 2020.

Herman was baptized in 1945 at the age of seven in the Macedonia Baptist Church in Augusta, Georgia, under the Pastorate of R. C. Calhoun. In 1985 he was ordained as a Deacon at Galilee Baptist Church and in 1990 he was licensed as a Minister. He served as Associate Pastor of Burnside Baptist Church, under the Pastorate of Warren B. Kelly for six years. In July 1996 he was called to be Interim Pastor for Mt. Victory Baptist Church. He was Ordained as a Pastor by the Eastern Union Bible Association on September 21, 1996. In November 1996 he was called by God and elected by the membership to become the Senior Pastor of Mt. Victory Baptist Church where he served for twenty-four years until God called him home. Herman was a dedicated and faithful servant in the Columbus Baptist Pastors Conference, Baptist Ministerial Alliance, Eastern Union Missionary Baptist Association, Ohio Baptist General Convention, Interdenominational Ministers Alliance and a catalyst in many other arenas. His fidelity to duty and model of ministry was marked by his passion of clinical pastoral counseling of youth in the Juvenile Detention Center, Youth for Christ, to telling others the Good News about God's mighty kindness, grace, mercy and love.

Pastor Noble attended the Eastern Union Bible College from 1989 to 2001. Pastor Noble served in the United States Air Force and was assigned to Deport 4 Combat Intelligence at Hunter Air Force Base in Savannah, Georgia. He received a Honorable Discharge in 1964. He was the "Host" for WCVO (104.9) Prayer Line for twenty years along with his wife and other prayer warriors.

He is predeceased by his parents, Sandy and Hattie Noble; son, Herman H. Noble, Jr; brothers; James Noble, Sandy Noble, Robert Noble, Eugene Noble, and Johnny Noble; sisters, Gloria McIntosh, and Carrie Anderson.

He is survived by his loving wife Roseann, who shared a beautiful union of thirty-seven years; sons, Radford (Gwen) Noble, O. R. Ball IV, of Columbus, OH; daughters, Dr. Chandra Noble of Boca Raton, FL, Tamera Lindsay, Chamese (Richard) Jarrett, of Columbus, OH, Rachel (Chauncey) Sercey, of Cumming, GA; brothers, Dr. Charles W. (Nora) Noble of Orlando,FL; Willard Noble, of Columbus, OH.  He has Twenty-two grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, special friends, Genevieve  Kelly, Pastor Verlin Samples, Pastor Johannas Christian and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and the Mt. Victory Baptist Church Family.

Pastor Noble will be remembered by all for his adoration to God, demonstrated by his love to his family and mankind. Everyone who knew Pastor Noble, will eternally have sacred memories of his life changing involvement catapulting them to dream and believe in themselves.

Pastor Noble was ready for the reward God had prepared for him and to hear God say "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

Family will receive friends Tuesday February 25, 2020 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 2121 Joyce Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43219. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
