Family will receive friends Friday April 18, 2025 at 2:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227.

Rashida Oni Bridges was born on March 16, 1973, to the late Dr. Charles Bridges and Shirley Bridges in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Independence High School ad Fort Hayes High  School in 1991.

Rashida started working at the state of Ohio at the age of 16, and later graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in business. She continued her employment until her illness caused  her to retire.

All her life, Rashida has been a pillar of the community. She was very passionate about helping others. She mentored many children and young adults in the community. She was the Vice-President of Bridges & Company and was a dedicated volunteer for Young People in Action, The Hub, and the Fresh Life Farmers Market. She was passionate about bridging the gap for those who were struggling in the community to make the community strong. More importantly, Rashida was a faithful member of the Kingdom of God.

Rashida was preceded in death by her grandparents, her aunts, and her loving father, Dr. Charles Bridges. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Shirley Bridges, her aunt, Beverly Willis, her brother, Donald Bridges, as well as her god brother, Antony Blount, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rashida was greatly loved by many loved ones and friends.
