Family will receive friends on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. Church of Deliverance, 393 N. High Street, Chillicothe, OH 45601. Pastor Jeremy Beverly, Officiant.

Renee was born January 24, 1969 in Ross County, Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Sandra Valentine and James Valentine Sr. and gained her wings July 1, 2024 at her home in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by family.

Renee will always be remembered as a beloved member of her community. She will be known for her incredible courage because on June 3rd, 2022 Renee was tragically and intentionally ran over and dragged more than 1500 feet she endured over 50 surgeries the incident left her an amputee and confined to a wheelchair but it never broke her spirit. Renee’s journey was marked by immense pain, strength, love and bravery which inspired those around her. Renee affectionately known as Sissy remained in great spirits until her passing.

Renee attended Chillicothe High School and Pickaway - Ross Joint Vocational School where she graduated in 1987. Renee loved to stay active you always saw her walking and she never went out without looking her best. She loved her family and friends.

Renee is preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Valentine, two children Leon Valentine and Tina Valentine, and a niece Brittany Covietz-Hodges. Renee leaves to cherish her memory her beloved Brielle Valentine and Ahmad Bishop-Valentine of Reynoldsburg, Ohio her father James Valentine Sr. of Columbus, Ohio her Sisters Tammy Valentine of Columbus, Ohio and Cheryl Valentine of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and brother James Valentine Jr of Chillicothe, Ohio her niece Cassandra Valentine of Pickerington, Ohio her great nephews Konnor Jenkins Pickerington, Ohio and Mariano Hodges of Dayton, Ohio.
A very special beloved Uncle Kenny and Aunt Jo Valentine who always made time to visit with Renee.

Renee will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and unwavering love for her family and friends. May she rest in eternal peace and her memory be cherished forever.
