Rennetta Ridley was born on Friday, August 15, 1947.  She grew up in the American Addition and went to school at Leonard, Pilgrim & Champion Schools.  She worked many years as a manager for O’Cains Markets.  She enjoyed music, dancing and playing cards.

Blessed with 72 years of life, our beloved Rennetta passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents William Sr. and Seretha Ridley, Sisters; Johnnie Mae Collins, Evelyn, Willa M. (Putt) Abbington and Carthenia Brown, Barbara Fields & Ersa Ridley, Brothers; William Jr., Charles (Red), Jack, & Anthony Ridley.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Tiffany, her son William, grandson, DeMario (Cheree), granddaughter, Dream, great-granddaughter, Paige and great-grandsons DeMario, Jr. “DJ,”  Jordan Ridley; a host of favorite nieces, nephews and friends.
