Life’s Reflections

A Time To Be Born Robbetta “Robbie” Ridley Dawson journey began June 12, 1956 when she was born to Nellie and Charles Ridley in Columbus, Ohio. Robbie was the middle of three children older brother Charles Ridley and younger sister Anita Allen.

Robbie went to Columbus Public Schools and attended West High School. She married Charles E. Dawson Sr. and from this union gave birth to the apples of her eyes Charles E. Dawson Jr.., Quentin A. Dawson, Clifton J. Dawson, Adrienne L. Dawson and Andrea M. Dawson.

Robbie enjoyed selling Avon and Tupperware, worked for Wassterstrom and Kidney Foundation until her health began to fail and she decided to pursue her degree in Health Management Systems.

Robbie enjoyed watching cooking shows, learning new recipes with her daughters and cooking with Mr. Bob. She played the sims game with her sister and loved talking and spending time with her children and grand-children.

A Time To Love Robbie loved her family, Sons Charles (Anissa) Dawson Jr., Clifton (Lisa) Dawson, Daughters: Adrienne L. Dawson and Andrea (Punch) Dawson. Brother Charles (Victoria) Ridley and Sister Anita (Thomas) Allen. Grandchildren: Deanna, MalKia, Arielle, Aliesha, Anthony, Que’Aja, Queyani, Kyra, Kennedy, Benjamin, Quayden, Adrianna, Makayla, Makenzie, Alexandria, Alexsa and Adrian. A host of great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special friend Robert Hill.
