Robert Malcolm Little was born on February 23,1993 in Columbus, Ohio to Robert E. Little and Nicole J. Lovett. He attended Columbus Public and Pickerington Local Schools graduating in 2011 from Pickerington Central High School.
As a child Robbie played Select Soccer for many years. He also played basketball, loved swimming, ran cross country, and enjoyed all things sports and adventure. But nothing meant more to him than spending time with family.
Robbie was born into a large family on his dad’s side with whom he had endless fun - from family vacations to hanging out with cousins.
His family on his mom’s side was small and special where the air was always full of nature, laughter, snuggles, and overflowing love.
As a matter of fact, Robbie felt abundant love from all around and childhood was oh so sweet! He had close, unique relationships with each of his grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He was on life’s big adventure with his loving family.
Depending on who you spoke to over the years, they referenced Robbie by a variety of nicknames: Robbie Little, Young Rob, Malcolm, Baby Toes, Big Brother and Lil Rob, to name a few.
As Robbie got older, his large family grew. Not only as the next generation of cousins made their way into the world, but also as he established friendships that were meaningful and rich. Some became the extension of family - brothers and sisters that he chose. And there was one addition that melted his heart - his little sister. He loved her madly and would do anything for her. Affectionately known to her as Big Brother, Robbie shared with her a special connection rooted in innocence and laughter. With her, it was a comfortable place for his soul. He adored his little sister.
In later years, Robbie did a variety of odd jobs and most significantly “moves”, from small local apartment moves to cross country moves. He LOVED to be on the open road and see the countryside. His gentle soul was most at home in nature and Robbie often said how it would suit him to be a farmer or live off grid. His affinity for running often merged with his love for nature as he ran on scenic trails as often as he could.
Robert was an artistic, creative, and kind soul. He led his life with kindness, forgiveness, empathy, and compassion. Even when the most challenging and uncertain times arose, he made his way back to that heart space. Every day of his almost 31 years, his love and care for others had tremendous IMPACT and the world is a better place as a result of his time spent in it.
Robbie transitioned suddenly from this life on Sunday, November 19th, 2023. Although he departed his earthly body, LOVE remains.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William E. Lovett and grandmothers, Shirley Lovett and Blanche Little.
Left to cherish his memory are his: parents, Robert E. Little and Nicole Lovett; sister, London Luke; grandfather, Robert T. Little; bonus brothers Joey Little IV and Najee Strauther; and a long list of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
