Family will receive friends Tuesday September 9, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Livestream will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Robert Louis Weind was born on November 25, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Lon Weind, and Lillian Marie (Evans) Weind. He transitioned peacefully on August 27th 2025 at the age of 84. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lillian Marie (Evans) Weind and Lon Weind, sisters Mary Wright, and Sister Teresita Weind, SNDdeN. 

He leaves to cherish his memory; three loving children Lon Weind, and twins Troy Weind, and Troia (Craig) Braxton, sisters; Carol Weind, Deborah Weind, brothers; Charles (Doris) Stratford, James Weind, and Thomas Weind. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Adrianne (Samuel) Thomas, Carla Braxton, and Ashley Braxton, three great-grandchildren; Cevion Braxton, Adjerai Braxton-Wilson, and Roy Hogan III, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Robert is a proud veteran and served in the U.S. Air Force, with the 664th Radar Squadron, (SAGE). Robert attended St. Charles Preparatory School, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Franklin University. Robert owned his own business working as an Interior designer, restoration and reconstruction professional. He had a passion for politics and community. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and listening to classical music.

Affectionately called “Robb”, he loved life! He loved to smile, make others laugh, and, always had a great sense of humor. He was always well known for his great taste of fashion, with his suits, suspenders and most importantly his “HATS”.
