Rosanna Virginia Cromwell, age 91 went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday April 2, 2022 at home.  She was born on January 17,1931 in Shawsville, Virginia.

Mother Cromwell was a faithful member and Sunday School student of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith church.  She was a true woman/worshiper of God.  Mom would shout out her shoes and just praise the Lord anywhere she felt the spirit/the need to worship; at home, outside, in the restaurant and definitely in the Church. Sister Cromwell was not a shame to celebrate Jesus; praising from the rooftops at the top of her lungs, consistently fasting & praying, and reading the King James Bible all the time, day and night.  She was a very sweet, quiet, and humble woman of God. She loved the Lord with all her heart and never complained at all. Her favorite song was God Has Smiled on Me He Has Set Me Free, Bishop G.E. Patterson’s songs, I Won’t Complain and several others.

She received her education at the Christiansburg Institute and later moved to Columbus, Ohio where she married the love of her life, Harold O. Cromwell.  Mrs. Cromwell was employed by The Ohio State University in management for over 26 years until she retired.

Predeceased by parents, Herbert Hill & Laura (Claxton) Hill and stepfather Charlie Muse; husband of over 50 years, Harold O. Cromwell Sr.; brothers, Joseph and John Hill; sisters & brothers-in-laws, sons-in-law: Ernest L.(Pepper) Reed and Joseph Shelton; special cousin, Evelyn Claxton.
