Family will receive friends on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. until the time of Memorial Service at 11:30 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227.
Roscoe W. Farrar went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday May 30th, 2023 at his residence. Roscoe was born on October 5th, 1959 in Somerset, Bermuda to Norma and William Farrar. His Family relocated to Columbus Ohio in 1970. Roscoe attended Starling Jr. High School and Central High School. He then went on to work at the Columbus Convention Center.
Roscoe loved his four children Elizabeth (Reggie) Eberhart, Robin (James) Willis, Roscoe and Norma Luttress, his 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Elder Norma Farrar, his brother Calvin Pendergrass, sister Shirlene Farrar, numerous nieces, nephews. He was preceded in death by his father William Farrar and sister Sharlene Farrar – Travis.
Roscoe will be greatly missed by family and friends and his special friend Miss Annette Medlin. We will miss his infectious smile and his beautiful flowing locks. A special thanks to his “Ohio Health Hospice Team”, Dr. Lewe Lee. Nurse Cheyenne, Social Worker Zach, Health Aide Yolanda and Chaplain Michelle. Also, to Bishop Derrick Johnson, Pastor Hudell Collins, Pastor Jones.
A special thank you to his son Roscoe Jr. and his sister Shirlene Farrar that gave him the best care also. To the spiritual fathers of Roscoe, Deacon Johnny Draughon, Deacon Doug Dorsey, Deacon Curtis Turner, and all those who sent prayers, flowers, gifts and food thank you again.
