Calling hours (10 people at a time) Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at White's Chapel (50 maximum). Private family service at 11:15. Masks and tickets are required upon entry. The private service will be live streamed.

Roy Charles Carpenter, born November 23, 1949, departed this life on December 22, 2020.  He is preceded in death by his mother, Julia Carpenter, father; Jerry Carpenter, Sr., brothers: Jeremiah (Shorty), Robert (Bobby), Richard, Oscar, Wilbur (Geechie), two sisters; Camille Price and Rosemary Carpenter and special aunt; Catherine Carpenter. 

He is survived by children; Roy (Shellie) Carpenter, Tina (Nathaniel), Edward (Iesha) Small, and Christine, sisters; Linda Mitchell, Gloria Jean, Candy, Shirley, Cynthia, Tracy and Elizabeth (Liz), a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Special aunt; Rhea Wallace.
