Family will receive friends Friday May 23, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m at White's Funeral and Cremation Services. 

Roy JD Scott, was born March 7th, 1981 to Gordon Miller Lewis, Sr. and Loretta Scott Jones. While surrounded by family and loved ones, after a long fight with Cancer, the Lord called his name and called him home.  Roy went to meet his Heavenly Father May 6th, 2025 at 6:04pm. Roy was preceded in death by his Grandparents George Jones and Ursula Holmes – Jones Shield, Father Gordon Miller Lewis, Sr., Step Father Joshua Davenport, Aunt Carolyn Jones, Aunt Camilla Bentley, Tamara Jones – Watkins, Lula Benison and Uncle Jimmy Lewis.

Roy was raised by his Step Father Joshua Davenport from whom he gained most of his trades. Roy loved fishing, driving, and of course animals. Spending time with family and loved ones was what Roy was known for. He was the type of person you wouldn’t have to ask, he would already be doing it. The love and care Roy displayed you wouldn’t get from anyone else.

Roy leaves to cherish his memories: His Daughter Tileauna Scott, God Daughters Sparkle and Keelee, his Mother Loretta Scott Jones, Siblings Kisha Stares and Quantez (Shaneka) Lewis. He leaves a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

Roy’s final resting place will be at Union Cemetery.
