Family will receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227. Livestream will begin at 3:00 p.m.

Ruthie Lee Turner (Rudy) was born June 13, 1961, in Cleveland, Ohio to Percy and LueAnna McDade. She departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2025.

Rudy attended Cleveland Public Schools where she graduated from Glenville High School with honors. She was a member of the National Honor Society.

Rudy attended The Ohio State University. She obtained her RN degree and worked in the field of nursing for over 25 years.

Rudy met her husband, Jeffrey Turner while attending OSU in Columbus. They were married in 1983. To that union one child was born, Christine Turner.

Rudy was a member of the Church of Christ in Columbus, Ohio where she was baptized.

Rudy enjoyed life. She loved her family! She enjoyed cooking, music, dancing, and especially traveling.

She was preceded in death by her Father Elder Percy McDade, her Mother LueAnna McDade, her Daughter Christine Turner, and her Sister Edna Swanson-Collins.

Rudy leaves to cherish her memories, her Husband Jeffrey Turner, two Grandchildren Cailynn and Kerrick Hammond of Cleveland, Ohio, Sisters Olivia Douglas and Marilyn (Robert) Glenn of Cleveland, Ohio, Gracie Hicks of Coco Beach, Florida, Pearly Thearesa (Roger) Farrow of Hinesville, Georgia, Fannie (John) Timko of Cleveland, Ohio, along with two brothers Percy McDade Jr. and Theophilus McDade of Cleveland, Ohio. In addition, she leaves a host of other relatives and friends who will lovingly miss her.
