Sarah Elizabeth Coleman Watson, age 92 was called home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning, March 17, 2021. Sarah was born October 20, 1928 in Flemingsburg, Kentucky to the late James and Ruth Coleman. She moved to Columbus, Ohio at an early age and attended Champion Junior High School and graduated from East High School. Sarah had been a longtime member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and later changed her membership to New Salem Baptist Church where she truly loved serving the Lord in her "favorite" seat. She always enjoyed the singing and powerful sermons. She really enjoyed her once a year travels with the Seasoned Citizens and Rev. Leon L. Troy, Sr.
Sarah met and married the late Alonzo W. Watson III where they shared many happy memories for 25 years.
Sarah held a few jobs which included Eastside Dry Cleaners and janitorial companies. Her favorite job was to keep her house and yard clean. She always stayed busy!
