Family will receive friends Monday February 10, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, 428 E. Main Street, Columbus, OH 43215. Inurnment: Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, 5802 Elder Road, Canal Winchester, OH 43110. 

Born in Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Sharon attended the Ohio State University majoring in English. She had long careers at Columbus Housing Authority and the EPA before

retiring. She was an active member at Mt. Olivet Baptist church serving on the bereavement ministry and singing in the choir. She was very charitable. She also

enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, was an avid reader, loved eating and adored being a grandmother to her grandchildren.

Fane; Grandchildren: Tristan Watkins; Lischele and Michael Watkins; Marissa and Travis Flu-Allen; Michael and Randy Hairston; Ashley and Nathan Pendergrass, Jr.

Kayla Arnold, Allen Pendergrass (Son-in-law); Karen Cooper (Cousin) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and treasured friends.

Sharon was predeceased by her parents, Charles, and Gladys Johnson; her loving husband, Clarence Watkins; and bonus children, Judy (Watkins) Pendergrass and Kenneth Watkins.
