Shylese Davis

Shylese Davis departed this life May 4, 2022. Family will receive friends Friday, May 20, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:30 a.m. at White's Chapel. Interment Evergreen Burial Park.

Shylese Ann Davis, affectionally known as Shy, was born June 14, 1992, in Smithtown, NY to her loving parents Carl and Teresa Davis. She built her life in Columbus, Ohio. On May 4, 2022, surrounded by her loving family, Shy transitioned to be with Our Heavenly Father. Shy was the fourth of six children. Her family was her everything. She treated every cousin and close friend like a sibling.

Shy accomplished many of the goals she set. She graduated from Groveport Madison High School and went on to become a Certified Medical Assistant. She explored her talents in the field of Cosmetology. With a vibrant and determined spirit, before passing Shy started her own cleaning business MVP Cleaners (Mop, Mop, Don’t Stop) with the intentions of providing jobs for others living with disabilities.

You will never meet a more supportive, loving, humble and giving person than Ms. Shylese A. Davis. To know Shy was to love her. She was everyone’s favorite person. She will forever be a bright light shining on in the lives of those who loved her deeply.

While courageously battling diabetes and the health issues that came with it, Shy fearlessly lived life to the fullest. Shy is preceded in death by grandmothers: Margaret Robinson and Barbara Davis; Grandfathers: Roger Robinson and Carlis Davis; Shy is survived by her parents: Carl and Teresa Davis; five siblings Jesrielle Leonard, Lakia (Marcus) Swift, Quisaiah (Delia) Davis, Isaiah (Miyana) Davis and Keisha (DeShawn) Womack; Nieces and Nephews: Nylah, JayShawn, Nigel, Kali, Kori, Gregory, Malaysia, DeShawn Jr. and Justine as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
