Terri K. Posey-Dover, age 66, sunrise January 18, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio.  Terri transition this life on September 11, 2024 at Zusman Community Hospice Care. Terri joined Shiloh Baptist Church and was a faithful member for many years. 

Terri graduated from Mifflin High School and immediately went to work caring for seniors at Westminster Seniors Care.  Finding this work rewarding and gratifying, Terri sought additional training leading to a twenty-three year career at Mount Carmel West Hospital, Trinity Health. Terri was truly grateful for the relationship nurtured at Mount Carmel. When she became ill, caring staff donated their earned sick time to her, allowing her to remain on the payroll until she retired. 

After retiring Terri battled one health issue after another.  As Terri’s health failed her, she spent this last year at Wexner Heritage Long-Term Care where she received excellent care and attention.  God knocked on her door Wednesday morning and said come on home my child and rest in peace.

Terri is preceded in death by her parents, Henry W. Posey and Claudia M. Posey.  She will be missed by her sisters; Dr. Sue A. (Theodore) Howard, Las Vegas, NV and Lynette Goodman (Griffin, GA and Columbus, OH), one special niece Tamika Barker (Griffin, GA) and two loving grand nieces, Diamond Bailey and Nikyah Barker (Griffin, GA), and a host of cousins and friends.

Terri will be sincerely missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her and will especially be missed by those who had the pleasure of loving her.
