Timothy Lee Odom, beloved father and grandfather passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2023 at the age of 65. Timmy, as he was often called, was born on January 2, 1958 in Columbus, OH to Otis Odom Sr. and Dimple D. Elliott-Odom. Born and raised in the heart of Columbus, He and his brothers became well known and loved by many in the neighborhood. Timmy was a proud product of the Columbus Public School System and would tell anyone that would listen about his time spent achieving his many accolades as a beloved East High School Tiger. Known to everyone as the life of the party or “Good time Charlie”, Timmy was almost always guaranteed to be on the nearest dance floor with a drink in his hand, a smile on his face and a mean 2 step dance move. Timmy was a lover of all things sports related but no two teams meant more to him then his Cleveland Browns and THE Ohio State University Buckeyes football team. There weren’t many games he missed over the years and you could always count on an strong and enthusiastic argument from him when it came to his Dawg Pound or his BUCKEYES!
Timmy was always the life of the party but family was the cornerstone of Timmy's life. He adored his daughters often time boasting about their lives and accomplishments to anyone who would listen. Paw Paw was also a title Timmy coveted and talked to his two “best friends” on a daily bases creating an unbreakable bond with them along the way. Timmy left a legacy of love, life and laughter and undoubtably created so many special memories and connections with everyone he came in contact with. With his legacy reaching far beyond his family to his numerous former classmates, friends and former coworkers, Timmy’s memory will forever be cemented in the hearts of those he knew and loved.
Timothy was preceded in death by both of his parents Otis Odom Sr. and Dimple D. Elliott-Odom, brother Otis Odom Jr and several aunts and uncles.
Those left to celebrate Timothy’s life include his wife Mary, daugthers Ashtyn, Chanelle and Heaven; two grandchildren, Dayla and Amiyah; Brothers Harvey Odom, Lawrence Odom and Randall (Cheryl) Odom I; Sister Tracey Childs; Aunts Shirley Smith and Lillian Caliver; Uncle Curnell Elliott and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.

His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those closets to him. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him but forever celebrated by those who loved him.
