Family will receive friends Tuesday October 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment: Greenlawn Cemetery.
Welton Huling, Jr. was born on March 18, 1950, to Welton and Helen Huling in Buffalo, New York and educated in the Columbus Public School System. Following high school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, served a tour in Vietnam and was honorably discharged.
As a result of his military service, Welton found a new mission of helping his fellow veterans navigate the difficult Veteran Administrative system. He sincerely wanted to make sure his friends, and other veterans, received the benefits they earned through their years of military service to their country.
Welton also called “Hot Rod”, grew up with a love for baseball, forever cheering on his favorite team, the St. Louis Cardinals. He also had serious enthusiasm for horse racing and enjoyed pondering over racing forms to pick winners. Moreover, he truly loved watching old black and white western movies over and over.
He is preceded in death by his parents Welton and Helen Huling, his son Antonio Brown and niece Joya Wilson.
He leaves to cherish his memory his sisters Deborah (James) Crowley Burton, Edna Huling Wilson; niece Tommi Crowley; nephews Gregory (Kelli) Crowley and Duane (Charisse) Wilson; one aunt Mary Ann Banks, and a numerous amount of loving relatives and friends.
