William L. Barney

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 2, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Road, Columbus, OH 43227.

William "Billy" Lewis Barney of Bluefield, West Virginia. Mr. Barney passed away on January 21, 2024 in his home at the age of 66 years old.

Billy attended Bluefield High School and went on to receive his certification in carpentry. He was a long time client with Maryhaven and Ronald Pollard was his case manager. William "Billy" was a father, grandfather, brother, son, uncle, cousin and friend to many who loved life and had a heart of gold. If you know him you know he always ends every sentence with "One Love".

His sister, Mae Robinson loved him very much and did everything she could for him.

William is proceeded in death with his mother Easter Green and Father William Lewis; sisters Esther Dillard, Catherine Miller and brother Robert Barney.

He leaves to cherish his memories sister Mae Robinson of Columbus, Ohio and Angelia (Michael) Mooney of Ashburn, Virginia; brothers Emmanuel Barney of Lithonia, Georgia and Harry Barney of Charlottesville, Virginia; son William Dontae Rogers (mother Adrianne Rogers); granddaughter Hazel;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
