Calling hours (10 people at a time) Friday, August 7, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of White's Funeral and Cremation Services. Private family service will be livestreamed beginning at noon.
William “Spud” Callahan was born May 11th, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio and called home Sunday morning July 26th, 2020.
He received his education from the Columbus Public School System, Graduating from East High School. Spud, wanting to achieve more in his life, joined the U.S. Armed Forces, Coast Guard Division. He received an honorable discharge.
Spud was very reserved but enjoyed intellectual conversation. He loved listening to jazz and inspirational music. Spud always stayed in touch with family and tried to attend family outings and holidays as much as possible. He moved to Pittsburgh, Pa in 2002 to be close to his brothers.
Spud was preceded in death by his Parents, Walter Roger and Myrine Elizabeth Callahan; Grandparents, William and Virginia Groce; Niece, Nikesa Phoenix.
Spud leaves to rejoice in his celebration of life, with cherished memories: Brothers, Roger, Ted (Betty), and Wendell Callahan, Sisters, Donna (Larry) Smith, Denise (Darrell) Pace, Delores (Stan) Thomas. Aunt, Letha Groce, and a host of Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.
