Family will receive friends on Saturday November 30, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at White's Funeral and Cremation Services, 867 S. James Rd. Columbus, OH 43227. Interment: Glenrest Memorial Estates. 

Yvetta Marie Tuck, age 78, was called to eternal rest by her Heavenly Father. Surrounded by the love of her family across generations, she peacefully departed this life on Friday, November 15, 2024. Yvetta was born on September 28, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wilson Banks of Sunnyside, Georgia and the late Margaret Banks of Columbus, Ohio. After retiring from AEP Ohio she continued to support her community as a school bus driver. Yvetta and her husband dedicated 21 years to providing loving foster care for children.

Yvetta was preceded in death by her father, mother, aunts, Lilley Morrison and Olivilee Morrison; uncles Herbert Morrison, Samuel Morrison, and James (Eunice) Morrison. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Shelly Tuck; son, LoJuan Tuck; granddaughters, Jamea Tuck and TaiJuanna Tuck; cousins, Patricia Dizmon, Tamara Houston, Linda Taylor, Gloria Ann, and Gloria Jean; mothers-in-law, Edsel Turk and Roselee Tuck; brothers-in-law, Vernoll (Dorothy) Tuck, Archie Jones, and Ronald Tuck; sisters-in-law, Delores (Robert) Tuck-Cook, Mary Jones, Debra Tuck, Janet Pruitt, Yolanda (Henry) Ragland, Jacqueline (Stanley) Adkins, and Joan Taylor; special friends, Helen Guilliams and Brenda Dudley; other relatives and friends.

Yvetta was a woman of great strength, compassion, and graceful wisdom. As a wife, mother, grandmother, and foster mother she was the glue that held the family together. She was a constant source of support and love, always putting her family first. She took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow, offering encouragement, guidance, and a listening ear whenever it was needed. She found deep fulfillment in caring for others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. Her generous heart, unwavering loyalty, and gentle presence will forever be remembered. Yvetta will be truly missed by many.
